Michael Bloom is an award-winning email, digital, and multichannel marketing thought leader with expertise in email revenue monetization and incremental revenue generation. He won the Direct Marketing Association’s 2014 Marketer of the Year Award with Hearst Magazines for creating the Hearst Perks Premium Email Media Program.
Prior to launching Chief Marketing Solutions in 2010, Bloom served as Chief Marketing Officer in The Trump Organization, General Manager of Datran Direct at Datran Media, and Chief Information Officer of Audio Book Club at Media Bay. He also held senior marketing positions at AT&T, Time Warner, Western Union, and Sony Music, and successfully managed email, digital and multichannel campaigns for clients including TD Ameritrade, Disney and Verizon.
He has been featured as an expert speaker at national marketing conferences and was an Email Marketer Thought Leader of the Year Nominee in 2013 from the Email Experience Council of the Direct Marketing Association. He has published articles in leading industry journals, pioneered critical marketing breakthroughs, and delivered consistently exceptional results with a powerful toolbox of insightful strategies, operational efficiencies, and powerful partnerships.
Bloom earned his MBA as a Merit Scholar in Finance from the State University of New York at Albany in 1986 and graduated in 1984 from the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University.
